A moment in time that captivates my soul
The thoughts I whisper humble as I stand
Though I take steps unwavering for I have love
For now I become the blessed seed sown
I’m cleansed to begin anew and bear fruit
Honor and commitment bestowed upon my life
This day and henceforth sacred and pure
As I stretch out my hands as well as my heart
May the touch seal and be as one
As we walk the path destined for us
The times to come and those of yesterday
This day in between times the joy fills my soul
May I live each day and know love
Which shall keep us when troubles come
