Knowing Love

Sometimes I get nervous when I speak of you

My whole life I've longed for your intimate touch

Searching from within to present you in all that I do

They say you come and go as though in a rush

To little or too much or they never speak of such

There's a peace within that surrounds your soul

The strengh to overcome and carry on

To shelter and give life when you grow cold

Having you in my life the hate and pain is gone

All I ask for is a moment in chance

The fullness of life without you I'm missing

I seem empty no  passion for you awaken and inspire romance

The in-depth warmth I feel as though I'm kissing

Its as though I pursue that which I cannot see

For I shall stand with diligence and welcome virtue

For you possess devotion, morality and integrity

For I ask that you know love, which is faithful and true
