I see life as a mystery that plagues me to create identity

So you love or hate me right or wrong you want to change me

Who should I be just me who holds the key bondage soul set free

A life lived infinitely love dwells within me

Life I see at times unclear to me unfair it can be

We only see what we choose to see I’m sure you agree

The paths we walk none outlined in chalk

Uncontrollable talk so grim and so dark

Could it just be this is not the life for me

Find my way set sail out to sea

Killed the cat they say it was curiosity

I see life with the hurt and pain the plague the flame

The respect the shame the loss the gain

The rights the wrongs

Keep up with the Jones’

Out of bounds and end zones

Life is a choice we give and take

The love we show real and fake

The soul you can’t duplicate

The rest of my life I have not seen

Maybe a glimpse in a dream

And destined to be a king

I see life as a dark room

And my soul is the guiding light

We change as the day and night

Committed crimes never caught

Life seems a baby talk

Unclear and distorted

Innocently murdered and aborted

This life I may never understand

But live according to some plan

To test us convict and arrest us

Curse and respect us

Some in this life seeking justice

I see life mystery that plagues me

To create identity

So you love or hate me

Right or wrong you want to change me

Who I’m destined to be is just me
